CLASSES THROUGHOUT THE MONTH 0F MAY 2013

May was a very busy month for us as we had a lot of classes booked by corporate companies and individuals. There was a long hiatus in our blog update due to time constrain and we managed to upload some of the pictures taken during the class. We have to ask for apologies if there is a mix-up in dates as there were too many pictures taken.

We also have to introduce our European Patisseries class which will run from June onwards. We received good response, with more than 100 people who registered for the class. In this class, three types of dessert cakes which are popular in Europe will be taught. Opera Cake, Tiramisu Cake and Chocolate Macadamia Brownies will be taught.

We are glad to note that our popular French Macarons class/workshop is still being booked and we have a few more classes this month. When I was in Paris, I had the opportunity to visit the famous Laduree Macarons shop and had the privilege of tasting and getting a close look of the famous macarons. I know it is virtually impossible to replicate Laduree's macarons as those macs are hand made by professional french chefs and the almonds that we get here are mostly from Asian countries, so it won't taste the same as the French ones. Be warned that Laudree does not allow anyone to take pictures in their shop.
