Our hands-on cheesecake workshop was featured in Groupon deal last month and we managed to secure nearly 60 customers who bought the deal. Classes were held during the weekend on every Saturday and Sunday. Below are some pictures depicting the cheesecakes made by the students. With a little guidance, all our students managed to bake four different types of cheesecakes - New York Cheesecake, Oreo Cheesecake, Tiramisu Cheesecake and Mango Cheesecake. Enjoy the pictures below and for those who are interested to learn how to bake cheesecakes, please register for our next Cheesecake Workshop on 20th October. Please call us at 016-4753114 or email us at for more details.

MACARONS & HOKKAIDO cakes class on 12th OCTOBER 2012

We had a request from Ms Ooi and three of her friends to have a Macroons and Hokkaido Cake class a couple of days ago. Class started quite early at 8.30 am as one of the ladies had to go back to office after lunch. The class went on well and the ladies managed to bake the macarons successfully, that is with shiny tops, chewy centres and pretty frills at the bottom. Eventhough it was their first attempt to bake macarons, these talented ladies had no qualms to master the technique with ease. Baking Hokkaido cakes are similar to macarons, where using correct techniques plays a very important factor. A small slip or mistake will cause the cakes to fall and shrink miserably, resulting in an unprofessional look. Anyway, below are pictures taken during class and if anyone is interested to join the class, please don't hesitate to contact as at 016-4753114 or email us at

Learn to bake this scrumptious dessert cakes in our Festive Dessert Cakes Class on 6th October. A full hands on class where students get to bake and decorate these cakes. All the cakes featured in this workshop are not only delicious but easy to bake with everyday simple ingredients. Our very popular Raspberry & Blueberry Crumble cake is taught in this class. The berries can be replaced with apples and walnuts with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. This is a great class for those who have zero knowledge in baking or for those who wish to increase their collection of cakes in their baking repertoire. (Scroll down to see the pictures).

Our Deepavali Delights class will feature some vegetarian cakes but bear in mind that the taste is not compromised with the absence of eggs. All our vegetarian cakes taste just like regular cakes made with eggs.  With some R&D, we have come up with baked eggless cheesecakes which taste just like any regular cheesecake.
We have also featured eggless sponge in this class for our Fruit of the Forest cake and Tiramisu Cake. Not to be missed is our very special sweet Gulab Jamuns. This milk based sweet dessert is not only very popular in the Indian sub-continent but also throughout the whole world. Our gulab jamun is so soft that it will melt in your mouth without you realizing it.

Another workshop is our Cheesecake class on 20th October. We sold nearly 300 hundred cheesecakes in our feature with Groupon. The feed back from our customers was very positive and most of them have bought our Dessert Cakes deal.

Our Nasi Briyani Set class will be last class for this year and for those who missed our previous classes, you can register for this class. Our chef from India will be conducting this class and for this class, we will introduce Nasi Minyak Kenduri. Personally I have tasted the Nasi Minyak Kenduri rice with the chef's dalcha and mutton roast. It was really delicious and I too can't wait to learn these dishes from her. If we have time to spare, I will ask our chef to demonstrate her famous samosas.

Last week, we hosted another team building event for Intel Corporation in Penang. There were about 50 participants who attended the event which started at 8.30am. It was a total joy to see the teams who were mostly engineers by profession don in aprons and piping buttercream creatively. I was suprised to see that most of  the participants did not feel intimidated to work in a culinary environment. Even more suprising was their hidden talent in cake decorating. The pictures below speaks volumes of their hidden talent and i hope some of them will think of having a second job! Thank you very much to Mr K.L Ng who co-ordinated the event and placing trust in us.

Team which made birthday cupcakes for a team mate. this team eventually won a prize for their creativity.
