PRINCESS CASTLE CAKE FOR MISHA QUERYNA

I made this castle cake for my niece's daughter, Misha Queryna's first birthday. The cakes are walnut buttercake and orange buttercakes. I made the turrets of the castle with gumpaste and used royal icing to adhere the cylinders to the gumpaste. The princess figurines were bought in Hong Kong. The cakes were quite heavy but stood up the test of time without any issues because they well reinforced with dowels. I wish I had more time to work on this cake but due my tight schedule with classes running nearly the whole of last week, I tried my level best with the limited time I had. The event with Princess theme was held at the Berjaya Hotel Ballroom with an invitee of nearly 300 guests. I take this opprtunity to wish Misha Queryna a very first happy birthday and may she grow up gracefully like a princess.
